Direction d'Air Lune

Air Lune has been informed of the issuance by EASA of Airworthiness Directive No. EAD 2025-0268-E and is complying with this directive ahead of its scheduled implementation date of 29/11/2025 at 23:59 by immediately grounding all affected aircraft.

Depending on the aircraft, this involves reverting to a previous version of the embedded software or replacing the hardware computer that controls the ailerons and elevators (ELAC). Air Lune has identified around 20 affected aircraft in its fleet. Some will be able to return to service very quickly, while others, awaiting replacement of the ELAC module, will only be able to return from the 12th up to the 20th, December 2025.

The flight schedule has been already updated. Passengers affected by flight cancellations, aircraft equipment changes and, consequently, seat configuration changes have been notified by email and SMS, and can view the latest information when managing their booking online.

Analysis of a recent incident involving an A320 family aircraft operated by an American airline revealed that intense solar radiation could corrupt data essential to the operation of flight controls.

Air Lune and the manufacturer recognise that these recommendations cause operational disruption for passengers and customers. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
